Our Madsen cargo bike can carry 4 kids and all the cargo. We installed the 1000 watt Bafang mid-drive with a full lighting system. It's incredible how this bike moves! VBike is ready to roll on it's 2017 Take it Home program! Last year, dozens of folks in the Brattleboro area (and from around VT) tried out our bikes and even brought home one of to try out on their daily errands and rounds. We now have an unprecedented fleet from such great companies as Madsen, Yuba, Bike Friday, Liberty Trike, Sun Bikes, Dillenger Electric Bikes, E-Bike Kit and more.
Most importantly, through our Take it Home program you get to feel just how exciting and fun it is to bring your kids, cargo or just yourself around town, car-free and doing it in style! Whether you are ready to go into action around climate change, you're tired of being confined in a car, or just want a healthier lifestyle, this just might be your ticket. The Bike Friday Haul-a-Day can do the errands and also carry an adult or 2 kids. We installed the 750 watt mid-drive and the great lights. What a pleasure it is to ride! The first step is to provide you with one of our free bike consultations to discuss what you are looking for. We'll review some of the bikes types and options that may fit your needs. After that, we'll invite you and/or your family for a demo and training session on the bike you wish to take out. The training important includes safety information, e-assist operation and more. Then, if you want to take things further, we schedule you in for a review of the training so that you can take a bike our for a nice spin for part of a day or even bring it home for a period up to 3 days.

Take it Home and VBike's consultations services are completely free to you. If you appreciate what we do we, then by all means make a contribution to VBike to help further our work and vision.
