We thought you would like to see the materials for VSECU's VGreen bike loans. VBike just got the copy in yesterday from the credit union! This marketing material will be going out statewide to every bike shop.
We've been working hard to make sure that this happened by the summer, but the loan program came through even sooner than expected. This one of those important steps to updating the bike and the bike culture in Vermont. We have lots more work ahead of us, but it's nice to see this happen.
It's also so great that VSECU is recognizing that these loans are particularly important for the cargobike movement and the electric-assist technologies that can really change what a bike can do for Vermonters.
A big thanks goes to our Outreach guy, Phil Hammerslough, for always plugging away no matter the obstacles. Nothing gets in his way, absolutely nothing. Phil, is it OK if we pump you up a bit?
And we have to say that Laurie Fielder at the VSECU has been a pleasure to work with. She's a fan of VBike and her enthusiasm to make the VGreen loans available for transportation biking has been a so important for this effort.
